When did St. Cecilia live: in the Second and Third Century

Biography of St. Cecilia:
Unfortunately, we do not know much about St. Cecilia's life. According to the "Passion", a very famous literary text, Cecilia endured several dramatic adventures before she was cruelly tortured and in the end beheaded. Cecilia is adored as a martyr and as patroness saint of musicians and church music. It is said, that whilst dying, she was singing. The feast in her honor was already celebrated in 545. Cecilia was probably buried in the Catacombs of Callixtus, near the Papal tombs.
