THEATRAL
The nativity scene tells the Christmas story step by step, from left to right - like turning the pages of a picture book. The Christmas spectacle unfolds in chronological order: the shepherd's approach reverently to experience the miracle of the birth, while the Holy Family forms a tight band around them. The kings follow majestically, with their gifts in their hands, ready to honor the newborn king.

MINIMAL AND YET GREAT
Composed of 16 figures, it includes only what is essential for depicting the birth of Christ. With tiny dimensions, the figures are available in two sizes: 5 cm and 7.5 cm. With the 'nativity background' depicting an oriental temple ruin, the entire scene measures 25 cm or 35 cm in width. Taking up little space, it can easily be placed anywhere, leaned against a surface, or hung using a specially designed console. Despite its compositional brevity and extremely small size, the work perfectly conveys the significance of the historical event being narrated and impresses with its expressive clarity, sincerity, and immediate recognizability.

RICH IN DETAIL AND UNIQUE
Each figure in the Wieser nativity scene has its very own character - despite the gentle curves and smooth surfaces. Headdresses and hairstyles give them even more personality. Whether shepherd, angel or king, each figure blends harmoniously into the overall picture to proclaim the joyful message with a touch of individuality and charm.

FLAT, BUT NOT ONE-DIMENSIONAL
The Wieser crib is made as a bas-relief, which does not detract from its spiritual depth. On the contrary, this technique gives the figures a special aura. It seems as if they emerge from the background and reveal a piece of their world to us - quietly but expressively.

THE LEPI STORY
In 1920, Leo Prinoth Senior founded a carving workshop in the world-famous Val Gardena, whose product range initially comprised items with specific functions, such as buttons, corks and watch cases. However, the range was soon expanded to include sacred and profane sculptures. Slowly, nativity figures became more and more relevant and cLEPI introduced a quality assurance system and a wide-ranging production program with several variants of the respective nativity scenes, for which several artists were commissioned. Comprehensive quality controls of the materials were also introduced. Grandsons Alfred, Roland and Diego continued the family legacy until cLEPI moved to our Demi Art collection as a prestigious brand. We at Demi Art remained true to the values and quality standards of cLEPI and even took over the employees and the company headquarters. Today, our diverse showroom is located here, where each of our special crib creations is exhibited.
