BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Arnold Janssen was born on November 5, 1837, in Goch, Germany. He was a German priest and the founder of the Society of the Divine Word (SVD). With deep devotion and missionary zeal, he founded the "Steyl Mission House" in the Netherlands in 1875. Later, he also established the Missionary Sisters Servants of the Holy Spirit. He dedicated his life to training missionaries and spreading the faith worldwide. He passed away on January 15, 1909, and was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 2003.
