BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Archangel Gabriel is one of the most significant angels in Christian, Jewish, and Islamic traditions. His name means "God is my strength." In the Bible, St. Gabriel appears as a divine messenger: he announced to the Virgin Mary the birth of Jesus Christ (Lk 1:26-38) and explained visions to the prophet Daniel (Dan 8:16). He also spoke to Zechariah about the birth of John the Baptist (Lk 1:11-20). In Islamic tradition, San Gabriel is known as Jibril and is the angel who revealed the Quran to the Prophet Muhammad.
