BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Vincent Ferrer was born in 1350 in Valencia, Spain, and joined the Dominican Order. A brilliant theologian and powerful preacher, he captivated crowds with his sermons. During the Western Schism, he initially supported Pope Benedict XIII but later distanced himself to promote church unity. Traveling tirelessly across Europe-from Spain to France and Italy-he preached repentance and performed miracles, including healings and prophecies. He was considered the "Angel of the Apocalypse" due to his mission of preparing people for the Last Judgment. He died in Vannes, France, in 1419 and was canonized in 1455.
