BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Godfrey of Amiens was born around 1065 in France and joined the monastery of Mont-Saint-Quentin at a young age. He was known for his deep spirituality and talent in theological studies. Later, he became abbot of the Saint-Crépin monastery in Soissons. In 1104, he was appointed bishop of Amiens, where he worked tirelessly for church reforms and discipline among the clergy. His efforts gained him both admirers and opponents. Eventually, he retired to a monastery, where he passed away in 1115.
