BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Julian of Le Mans is regarded as the first bishop of Le Mans and the apostle of the Maine region in Gaul. According to tradition, he was sent by Pope Clement I to evangelize the area and established the first Christian community in Le Mans. Many miracles, including healings and church foundations, are attributed to him. He died in the 3rd century and was buried in Le Mans, where he is still venerated as the city's patron saint.
