BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Theodore of Sikeon was born in the 6th century in Galatia (modern-day Turkey). From a young age, he withdrew into solitude and lived as an ascetic. Later, he was ordained a priest and appointed bishop of Anastasiopolis. His reputation as a miracle worker spread quickly, attracting many who sought his wisdom and healing abilities. However, he chose to renounce his bishopric to devote himself entirely to monastic life. He founded a monastery in Sikeon, which became an important spiritual center. Saint Theodore died around 613 and was venerated for his piety and numerous miracles.
