BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Viktoria, born in Jerusalem (Israel), was betrothed to a pagan patrician named Eugenius, but refused to marry him because she had consecrated herself to Christ as a virgin bride. In order to defile her purity, he wanted to have her taken to a brothel, but this was prevented by divine intervention. The accusation of despising Roman gods resulted in the death penalty.
