When did Saint Lea live: 4th century AD
BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Lea came from a wealthy Roman family, but little is known about the rest of her early life apart from a few letters from the church father Jerome. What can be reconstructed is a marriage at a young age, which had a great influence on her. When her husband died, she gave up her previous life and dedicated herself to Jesus Christ. From then on, she lived a strictly ascetic life in a women's community, which contradicted her previous life.
