BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Flora was born in Córdoba (Spain) and decided to become a Christian at an early age. Spain was dominated by Islam, which is why the confession was very dangerous for her. Her father and brother tried to dissuade her, which led to her arrest and torture. After her imprisonment, she faced the judge with a like-minded nun to actively confront her martyrdom. Flora was killed by her own brother, which makes her fate even more tragic.
