BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Brice of Tours was a disciple and later the successor of Saint Martin of Tours as bishop. Initially, he was considered arrogant and critical of his mentor. However, upon Martin's death, he was appointed bishop of Tours. Due to accusations and scandals, he was exiled and traveled to Rome to seek redemption. After years of penitence and reflection, he returned to Tours as a wiser and more devoted bishop. He spent the rest of his life strengthening the Church and passed away around the year 444.
