BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Noah is one of the central figures of the Old Testament, known as the builder of the Ark. According to biblical tradition, he was a righteous man in a time of great corruption. God commanded him to build a massive Ark to save himself, his family, and a pair of every animal species from the impending flood. Noah obeyed and survived the flood, which lasted 40 days and nights. After the flood, God established a covenant with Noah and set the rainbow as a sign of His promise never to destroy the earth with water again. Noah is considered the ancestor of all post-flood humanity.
