When did Saint Oswin live: 7th century AD

BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Oswin, son of King Osric of Deira, was born in England in the 7th century. After the death of King Oswald in 642, St. Oswin took over the rule of the Kingdom of Deira in 644. He ruled for seven years with wisdom and justice, striving to strengthen the young Christianity in England. His reign was marked by peace and prosperity. In 651, however, he came into conflict with King Oswiu of Bernicia. To avoid bloodshed, San Oswin withdrew to Gilling, but was betrayed by a supposed friend and executed by order of Oswiu. Due to his righteous life and martyrdom, he was soon venerated as a saint.
