BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Remigius, also known as the Apostle of the Franks, was born around 437 in northern France. He became Bishop of Reims at the young age of 22 and played a crucial role in the Christianization of the Franks. He is best known for baptizing the Frankish King Clovis I around 496, an event that established the strong relationship between the Frankish Kingdom and the Catholic Church. Saint Remigius was renowned for his scholarship, his preaching, and his many miracles. He passed away around 533 and was buried in Reims Cathedral, where he is still venerated as one of France's most important saints.
