BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Wolfram of Sens was born in 7th-century France and initially served as a court chaplain to the Frankish king. He was later appointed Archbishop of Sens. His missionary work took him to the Frisians, where he converted many to Christianity. According to legend, he saved a boy who was about to be sacrificed in a pagan ritual, leading many to the faith. After resigning from his position, he lived as a monk at the Abbey of Fontenelle, where he eventually passed away.

St. Wolfram is the patron saint against shipwrecks and for the rescue of drowning persons.
