BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Kevin of Glendalough was born around 498 in Ireland into a noble family. From an early age, he sought solitude and lived as a hermit, becoming known for his holiness and spiritual wisdom. Later, he founded the monastery of Glendalough, which became a significant Christian center in Ireland. Many legends surround him, including the story of a blackbird laying eggs in his hand while he remained motionless until they hatched. Saint Kevin passed away in old age, around the year 618.
