BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Samuel was a great prophet of the Old Testament. His mother, Hannah, dedicated him to God even before his birth, and he was raised in the Temple under the priest Eli. Later, God called him to be a judge and prophet to lead the people of Israel and anoint the first kings, Saul and David. St. Samuel was a wandering preacher who conveyed God's will to the people. His life was marked by obedience and deep faith. He died in Ramah, where he was buried.
