BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Thomas Aquinas was a Dominican theologian and philosopher of the 13th century. Born in Italy, he joined the Dominican Order at an early age. As a student of Albertus Magnus, he developed a theological synthesis combining Aristotelian philosophy with Christian faith. His most famous works include the "Summa Theologiae" and the "Summa contra Gentiles." Thomas later taught at the University of Paris and had a profound influence on Scholasticism. He was highly regarded by his contemporaries and left a lasting impact on Catholic theology. He passed away in 1274, was canonized in 1323, and later declared a Doctor of the Church.
