Saint Felix of Cantalice (1515-1587) was an Italian Capuchin friar. Born in Cantalice, Lazio, he joined the Capuchin Order in 1543. He spent most of his life in Rome, serving humbly as a lay brother and alms collector. He was known for his deep humility, prayerful life, and charity toward the poor. A friend of Saint Philip Neri, Felix was canonized in 1712 and became the first saint of the Capuchin Order. His feast day is May 18.
