BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Francis Caracciolo was born in 1563 in Villa Santa Maria, Italy. Initially named Ascanio Caracciolo, he recovered miraculously from a severe illness and dedicated his life to God, becoming a priest. In 1588, together with Giovanni Agostino Adorno and Fabrizio Caracciolo, he founded the Order of the Clerics Regular Minor, a community devoted to prayer, Eucharistic adoration, and service to the poor. He was known for his deep piety, humility, and tireless dedication to evangelization. Francis Caracciolo died in 1608 in Agnone and was canonized by Pope Pius VII in 1807.
