BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Moses, also known as Saint Moses, is a central figure in the Old Testament and is considered an important prophet and leader of the people of Israel. He was born to Hebrew parents and was adopted by Pharaoh's daughter after being placed in a basket on the Nile to escape death. Later, he fled Egypt after killing an Egyptian overseer who was mistreating a Hebrew. God revealed Himself to him in the burning bush and commissioned him to lead the Israelites out of Egyptian bondage. After the ten plagues, St. Moses led the people through the Red Sea and received the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai. He led the Israelites during their 40-year wandering in the desert but was not allowed to enter the Promised Land himself and died on Mount Nebo.
