Biography of St. Erhard:
St. Ehard of Regensburg is probably a saint of Irish origins. He went to Germany as a missionary bishop and worked mainly around Regensburg. During his life he founded many monasteries and became bishop of Regensburg. According to the legend St. Erhard briefed Saint Odilia on religion and when he baptised her, her congenital blindness miraculously was cured. It is also told that he felled the tree of pagandom with an axe.
