When did Saint Priska live: 1st century AD

BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Priska, wife of the Jewish Christian Aquila, is mentioned several times in the Bible due to her relationship with the apostle Paul. It is also assumed that Priska may even have been the author of the New Testament letter to the Hebrews. Her house served as a meeting place for the early Christians, both in Corinth and later in Rome. However, because of her faith, she was expelled from Rome together with her husband and settled in Corinth. After Nero's seizure of power, she returned to Rome, where her house once again became a center of the Christian community.

PATRONAGE:
St. Priska is the patron saint of weavers, tanners and saddlers.
