BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Ubald was born around 1084 in Gubbio, Italy. He dedicated himself to religious life from an early age and became a canon of Gubbio Cathedral. Due to his holiness and virtuous life, he was appointed bishop of Gubbio in 1129. Throughout his episcopacy, he mediated conflicts and protected his city from enemy attacks. He was known for his kindness, wisdom, and miraculous healings. Many people sought his guidance and healing prayers. St. Ubald passed away on May 16, 1160, and was soon canonized. His relics are still venerated in Gubbio, attracting numerous pilgrims.
