BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Oliva, born in Palermo (Sicily), was deported to Tunisia at the age of 13. There she courageously held on to her faith, for which she was condemned. Some sources report that she was first thrown into prison and then tortured in various ways, including being drowned and burned alive. However, according to the legends, Oliva escaped these events unscathed thanks to divine intervention. In the end, she died by beheading.
